Geoff has accomplished a lot in the 7 short years that he has been a competitive runner. A current member of the University of Calgary Dinos Track and Cross Country varsity team. He has been Dino's leader on and off the track. Clearly Geoff loves to run, but above all he loves sharing his passion for the sport with others.
Geoff led the way through the Canadian Interuniversity Sports (CIS) season bringing home gold medals in the 2006 Cross Country and both the 1500m and 3000m indoor track in 2007. For these outstanding results he was named the University of Calgary Male Athlete of the Year (2007) and the CIS Athlete of the Year - Cross Country (2006) and Track (2007).
Other career highlights include representing Canada in the World Junior Cross Country Championships, where the best in the world gather to run, and being a member of the Canadian NACAC Team (North American, Central America and Caribbean Championships). This past summer he represented Canada in Bangkok, Thailand in the Universiade, World Student Games.
When not working at Strides or running Geoff is nearing the completion of his BComm (Finance) & BA Honours (Economics) in April 2008.
A PUMA athlete, he runs in the PUMA Prevail V – a great interval and long tempo shoe.
