Advance sport technology makes the ECCO RXP 3050 Running Shoe a delight for the serious runner.
The foot is supported and protected in a multitude of ways, from the triple density EVA midsole, to the plantear fascia bridge (PFB), which supports the great ligament, to the DynaThane encapsulated in the forefoot for shock-absorption.
Flexibility in the forefoot and the PFB increase responsiveness and encourage natural movement of the foot through the stride cycle. The design of this shoe makes it ideal for the neutral to light pronator. The breathable textile uppers have synthetic overlays and come in gray and green.

New Women’s World Record Set in Boston

Following up on an incredible, record-setting outdoor season in 2007, Meseret Defar has quickly shown that she is in fine form early in 2008, setting a world indoor 2-mile record of 9:10.50 at the Reebok Boston Indoor Games on January 26 th.
Ethiopia’s Defar broke the previous best, set in 2002 by American Regina Jacobs (9:23.38), by an incredible 13 seconds! |

The 24 year old phenom is also the defending World and Olympic 5000m Champion, as well as the 2-time World Indoor 3000m Champion. On Saturday, February 2 nd, Defar followed up her World record performance with the 4 th fastest 3000m ever run indoors (8:27.93) at the Sparkassen Cup competition in Stuttgart , Germany . Incredibly, Defar was disappointed with her time, having set the World Indoor 3000m record (8:23.72) at this same competition last year.
Other highlights of the Sparkassen Cup meet included Tariku Bekele, younger brother of multiple World record holder Kenenisa Bekele, winning the 3000m competition in a very fast 7:31.09, as well as the start of a year-long Farewell Tour for Olympic and 3-time World 800m Champion, Maria Mutola of Mozambique, winning the 800m in 2:02.44.
