Last Chance Half Marathon & 10 km

We all know that the running season doesn’t end when the snow flies, but it seems like races do! This is your opportunity to get one final race in before everyone retreats to their treadmills.

Be There Races presents the 18th annual Last Chance Half Marathon. Not up for a half marathon in November? Or just want a gentler distance? We introduced a 10km in 2019 which became very popular. The 10 km route will be on the same pathways as the half marathon with an earlier turn around point.

In 2021 we moved the start/finish location to the North Glenmore Park Community Centre and it worked really well. A beautiful, albeit tough, course which we will use again. We utilize pathways from the community centre, around Rockyview hospital and along the reservoir. Please see the route maps for details. Your entry fee includes a t-shirt, finishers medal, post race BBQ from the Notorious P.I.G. food truck and a Tool Shed beer. Yup, all included! 

We do have access to indoor space at the community centre. Washrooms are also inside the community centre building. We won’t have enough space for everybody to be inside at once so we’ll also have a tent set up outside depending on the weather.
