A New Chapter for Our Fish Creek Store

Many of you have visited our store on Canyon Meadows Drive and have noticed that we are not there! Strides Fish Creek is currently operating out of a temporary location in Avenida Village as we prepare our new permanent home in the same complex. This transition happened quicker than we originally planned,  so thank you for your patience and support!

Strides Fish Creek continues to serve our community with our wonderful temporary location. If you’ve stopped by this space, you may have noticed it has a bit of personality to it. Housed in a former chiropractor’s office, it’s been a creative “make-it-work” adventure with plenty of rooms and unforgettable blue walls. It’s not traditional retail—but it’s  fun, somewhat functional, and full of heart.

Now for the exciting part: our new permanent location is approximately 1,000 square feet larger and includes ample footwear storage, allowing us to better organize and expand. Did we also mention that there will be a coffee station after Wednesday and Saturday morning run groups? 

As of today (December 16, 2025), the new location is in the painting stage of the build, and finishing the flooring will commence Jan 1. We’re tentatively planning to move shelves and products into the new space around January 15th, and we can’t wait to start bringing the new space to life. We have some fun ideas around running activities for moving shoes across the parking lot which our Wednesday night run group deemed “free labour”, fully on board with the idea and adding additional ideas! 

We will have more details around the start of the new year for opening dates and the closing of our current temporary location as we transition into the new space.

>While we’ll save the big grand-opening celebration for warmer weather (Calgary winters keep us humble!), we’re thrilled about what this move means for the future. The new space gives us room to grow, improve the shopping and event experience, while continuing to be the welcoming community hub you know and love.

Thank you to everyone who reached out, checked in on us, offering to help us move and help set up. It means so much to us to have you all as our Strides family.  We’re so excited to welcome you into our new home soon!
